Removed, Relocated and Re-established

A few weeks ago(around Thanksgiving) we packed up the house and made the big move.

We all worked hard packing it up.

Here is a little pictorial view of the new place. I am including before and afters so you can see all the hard work we did. haha. Anyway:
This is a before overview of the house

Here is the living room which does not come with a before picture(sorry to disappoint).

This is the kitchen dining room area, which also does not have a before picture

This is my parent's room with just the painting done, but no furniture
The is the den. The black and white walls were my idea but they came with some convincing. It still needs a touch of love(pictures etc.) But this is the basic idea.

This the downstairs guest 1/2 bath. The wall paper needs removed and a bit of painting done, but again here's the basic idea. A before picture can be seen in the beginning collage.

Let's head upstairs. They actually had some work done on them. They were all carpet before but thanks to our friends Paul and Tommy they were re-done.

Before and in progress:

After:

There is a landing upstairs. Elena found this cute lil loveseat for it. I loved the stripes, but the couch was torn and I think stained, so we covered it.

Here is the landing complete with the covered loveseat. Before pictures can be seen in the beginning collage.
This is the upstairs bathroom. It's got kind of an ocean theme going on. A before picture can be seen in the beginning collage.

This is brother's room as the painting process was going on.

Here it is looking a little more lived in. He still needs some touches of love going on.

Here we were working on Elena's room. Stripes are harder than we thought!
After:
Purple is her favorite color if you couldn't tell!

I also decided to go with stripes in my room. They were supposed to more cream and tannish but ended up loving the yellow they turned out.

Here's a glimpse of the finished "beach house". I still need to add more love. I have so many pictures!!

And finally here's the backyard. It's nice and spacious which we love.
Here's our sad little hot tub that won't see use anytime soon...

Well that's pretty much all folks! Come and visit anytime! Just, uh, call first, hehe!
